Parish residence, Brixen / Bressanone

The parish residence was erected on the property belonging to the province on the grounds of the former health insurance building in the Romstrasse.
The entire construction project was divided into three sequential stages:
Stage 1: Demolition work and archeological excavations
Stage 2: New construction
Stage 3: Renovation and reconstruction of the old building.

In keeping with the functional requirements, the individual services were clearly divided in the two buildings:
New construction: Sanitary district (services department, outpatient clinics, administration), overnight facility.
Old building: Social district (daytime care and home care), veterinarian services
The building of the former health insurance company was built between 1929-1931 and enjoys special protection as an historical monument. For this reason, only very careful intercessions in the partitioning of the rooms and the use of materials were allowed.
