Renovation of the drinking water and fire-fighting water network, separate system, and surface design, Gais
Project description
This project concerns the renovation of the drinking water and fire-fighting water network in the village of Gais and the refurbishment of all infrastructure in the "Fraktionsgrund" and "Untergasse" wastewater treatment districts (LED lighting, data lines, drinking water lines, sewage and rainwater collection lines).
In the wastewater treatment districts, the street space was also redesigned, with the focus on reducing traffic speed. Pedestrians and bicyclists were afforded more space. The street space was structured using such materials as asphalt and natural stone. The creation of "gate effects" by narrowing traffic arteries at specific locations and the establishment of green islands in the street space enhances the village's overall appearance and facilitates maintenance.
